In the UK, a suit of Safari users against Google yet comes to court. The users had filed two years ago lawsuit against Google after it was revealed in 2012 that the Internet giant had abused a safari gap for the tracking of users. In this case, the surfing behavior was analyzed independently of the privacy settings in Safari. In the US, Google had therefore already fines totaling 39.5 million US dollars to make, whereas the practice of authorities was not further investigated in the UK.
